2007: Lonnie had a solid season in 2007...Played in 33 games with 28 starts...Was a key defender for the Lady Rams playing in left field...Had just a pair of errors with 18 putouts...Batted .185 with a triple and a pair of RBI...Also added a pair of stolen bases.

2006: Saw limited time in 2006, but showed a lot of potential in her limited time ... started in 17 games with a .212 batting average ... Had just one extra base hit, a triple ... She was 4-of-4 on stolen bases ...She totaled 24 putouts with just six errors last season ... Also had a .800 fielding percentage.

Personal: A native of Kinston, NC, she is a 2004 graduate of North Lenoir High School where she was named the MVP of the Hawks' softball MVP in her sophomore, junior, and senior seasons. The daughter of Nathaniel and Barbara Jones, she is a Business Management major at WSSU. Born in Grifton, NC on July 1, 1986. Nicknamed "La-La". Full name is Bronwen Lonnie Jones, she goes by "Lonnie".
